Superstar

We get the Windsor Beacon every Saturday in the mail. I usually take it in the house and glance at it quickly as I throw it down on the table. This Saturday was no different except I was rather surprised at the front cover...


Yes, our little Miss MaKenna is a "Front Page Superstar"! The article is about Tozer Elementary School 50th Anniversary. The caption said "recently", but this is actually her 1st grade singing program.

In an attempt to settle MaKenna and Daisy down we found Daisy a friend - or two. MaKenna has been worried and upset that Daisy was lonely and wanted her mom. Steve and I went to Pueblo today and picked up Copper and Moon. I don't really know what we're getting into. We're crazy I'm sure of it!

Jake, MaKenna and Kyler would like to introduce you to the newest member of their farm... Daisy.

The kids even helped build the pen. They had a blast and love helping out on the property. Daisy is doing well, but is lonely. We're going to see about getting her a friend.

Mud Brigade

MaKenna and Jake did their first "Warrior Dash" race today. It was called the Mud Brigade. The kids course was one mile with several obstacles and a mud pit to finish it off. They had a blast and can't wait to do it again next year. Jake wants to do the big race which is a 5K.

Back to School

Well, it's that time of the year again - moms are happy and kids are sad. Well, except for my kids – they are more excited than me I think. School has begun.

Jake and MaKenna started on Tuesday. Kyler started today! My baby, I mean big boy is in kindergarten.

Kyler rode the bus today and was super excited that today was the day he got to go to school.
