Last Day of School - May 19, 2011

Well, here we go - on to summer vacation.

Jake got Perfect Attendance again this year. He also got the National Physical Fitness Award for his fitness tests. He was in the running club this year and ran before school 3 or 4 days a week. He loves to be active.

MaKenna got Perfect Attendance too. She has gotten perfect attendance every year! Wonder how long we'll be able to keep this going. Maybe if she missed a day here and there, her teacher would be coming back next year. (Just kidding)

Kyler completed his Jr. Kindergarten / kindergarten class at KinderCare. It was the regular kindergarten curriculum, but he'll be in kindergarten again next year. But, even so, he had his graduation tonight. "He is the quiet one in the class and grew by leaps and bounds this year."

Jake and MaKenna took writing journals to their teachers with pens and a jar full of topics.

This gift basket contains the supplies for you
to record your story.

Simply choose a question strip each day from the jar.

Adhere the question strip to the top of
your journal page and use the question as
inspiration for your entry that day.

Once completed, you will have recorded the story of your journey as a teacher,
what it has taught you and how it has touched you.

We only hope that this special gift
and the joy of the process will allow you to see
just how special you have been to not only our child,
but countless others as well.
