Cheyenne Frontier Days - Rodeo Finals

The Daddy of 'em all!

The kids and I got some last minute tickets to the Rodeo Finals in Cheyenne today. I love rodeos and haven't been in FOR EVER. The kids haven't been to a "real" rodeo before, so I jumped on the chance to take them. We had a blast!

MaKenna made it to 8!

Yes, to some of us that is a surprise. :)
Here are some pics of her birthday outfit and cake. (NOTE: Molten Lava cake does not do well in mini cupcake pans.)

Double Digits

WOW - where does the time go? Jake is now 10 years old. He has been asking for a bow since he went to Cub Day Camp. We went to Famous Dave's BBQ for dinner and had choc mousse cake for his bday.

Here are the pics:

Last Day of School - May 19, 2011

Well, here we go - on to summer vacation.

Jake got Perfect Attendance again this year. He also got the National Physical Fitness Award for his fitness tests. He was in the running club this year and ran before school 3 or 4 days a week. He loves to be active.

MaKenna got Perfect Attendance too. She has gotten perfect attendance every year! Wonder how long we'll be able to keep this going. Maybe if she missed a day here and there, her teacher would be coming back next year. (Just kidding)

Kyler completed his Jr. Kindergarten / kindergarten class at KinderCare. It was the regular kindergarten curriculum, but he'll be in kindergarten again next year. But, even so, he had his graduation tonight. "He is the quiet one in the class and grew by leaps and bounds this year."
